Literally everyone who is privy to the internet in Mzansi has heard the new hit by Max Hurrell titled “ZOL”. It all started as a joke, now the entire country is vibing to the funny song.
Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma had broken smokers’ hearts with her infamous address in which she mentioned the word “ZOL”. Two days later, Max Hurrell made it into a viral song that everyone loves. Even Min. Flamini Zuma heard it, loved it, and threw a light hearted jab at the talented muso.

Now, the song’s gone viral. In a statement to BBC, Hurrell revealed he made the song to make people smile in a hard time. He also revealed he has gotten loads of ‘thank you’s from appreciative listeners in the country. According to him, he ended up chatting briefly with the minister who still had no problems with it.
