South African band MFR Souls returns to UbeToo with a song titled “Sthandwa Sami,” featuring Bassie and Khobzn Kiavalla. The song is actually a prelude to the release of a project by the group, which is unarguably one of the leading in South Africa’s amapiano universe.
One can’t tell why the group adopted the stage name MFR Souls, but it’s obvious from their releases so far that the group easily warms the soul of the listener with their musical releases. There is soul to their singing. One interesting soul-warmer is, of course, the song in review. Bassie and Khobzn Kiavalla were just great singing alongside the piano band.
By the way, in case you missed it, Bassie might be one of the features in Prine Kaybee’s imminent fifth studio album. The songster had shared a teaser of Bassie’s bars in a recent post to Instagram.
Well, until the Prince Kaybee collaboration drops, you’re better off vibing with what Bassie, Khobzn Kiavalla and MFR Souls have dropped. This song is a winner on many levels and should make the playlist of anyone interested in a good jam.
After this number, MFR Souls will most likely drop their “Healers of the Soul” album, which is one of the most anticipated projects right now.
