“Nguwe” rings amapiano, the trending genre in South Africa right now. Such is the amapiano craze at the moment that artistes of other genres are marching straight into the amapiano orbit, from Cassper Nyovest and Khuli Chana (hip hop) to Babes Wodumo – to mention a few.
One thing that strikes the listener about the “Nguwe” is that the artistes on the track actually make fine collaborators. It’s hard not to love what they have put together, as well as look forward to more collaborative tunes from them.
