Mvzzle is out with a lean volume titled “Sonke” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo.
At just three tracks, it’s one of the shortest projects we’ve listened to this year. But if you’re judging the project on the number of tracks, you’re in for a big surprise.
Lean though this body of work might be, it isn’t lean on musical meat. Yeah, so much beauty is embedded in the three tracks. Mthandazo Gatya, DJ NelCee, Lelo Kamau and Zammy are the artistes Mvzzle co-opted as guests,

Mvzzle has shown himself to be a competent craftsman in the world of dance and electronic music in South Africa. Those who still doubt his creative powers may want to embrace the project he’s just released.
“Sonke” EP is a project for those who value a good time – musically speaking. There are no drab breaks to this project which may well pass for Mvzzle’s finest release this year. And yes, you can quote us on that. Mvzzle may have rounded off the year on a grand note with this project. But it would be a delight to witness another drop before 2022 intrudes.
