South African musician Nathi serves a sumptuous afrobeats stew with a new number titled “Angeke,” featuring compatriot Tee Tee.
There are collaborations, and there are collaborations. Some of them stay with you because the artists are just so good as a team. One might point to this drop as one such instance.
Really, it is hard not to love what the two have put together. Spitting their bars side by side is nothing short of pleasurable. In fact, from listening to them here, a strong desire easily rises within the listener to see them collaborate again.
The Sai song is part of a recently released album that appeared to have thrown the lead singer into the consciousness of music lovers across South Africa after a while. You’re welcome to vibe with this number for all it’s worth. Nathi sure deserves his flowers, and he’ll get them. Just you watch out, peeps.
