It’s Friday and, as promised, South Africa’s house music producer Oscar Mbo is here to tell “My Story” in a new EP which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music hub.
When Oscar Mbo announced the imminence of the project, he was drowning in public denunciation, having allegedly collected money from a music promoter but refused to perform and also refused to refund the sum.
We many across social media dismissing him as a scammer, he had reportedly refunded the money to the music producer and then announced “My Story” EP.
In a sense, amid the crisis, the songster has pulled off a little business coup. With a title such as “My Story,” people would want to buy the music to hear his side of the scam story because Oscar didn’t say anything regarding the music promoter’s claim.
At this, did he succeed? You’re about to find out. “My Story” EP is a lean volume of just four tracks featuring the likes of Kaylow, DJ LeSoul, Simmy, and Thakzin.
