Kenyan singer Otile Brown drops a new song titled “Mpenzi,” with Prezzo as the sole guest. It’s a meeting of two East African champs.
“Mpenzi,” in a sense, shows a return to old habits for Otile Brown. Famous for his love lyrics, which have made many music lovers to call him the Loverboy of Kenyan Music, the songster returns to the letters of love with his song in review.
In part of the song, he admitted he never meant to say something foul; he just finds that he goes crazy when he misses his lover. Followers of Otile Brown’s music will not be surprised by the message here.
Anyway, Prezzo is a sterling complement to Otile Brown. It’s hard to listen to them together and not somehow desire another collaborative jam from them.
