Gqom champ Pro Tee returns with a new song titled “Yangthatha La,” with Sthandoh as the sole guest.
“Yangthatha La” is but one of several songs the South African musician has released this year. And like previous numbers, it is a song to hear and share. Yeah, the number bears great lyrical energy. That’s Pro Tee for you.
Pro Tee has been in South Africa’s music orbit for as long as we can remember. Although not the finest in the Rainbow Nation, he’s easily among the most prolific (on a scale of 7).
He has a habit of remixing works by others artistes, local and international. He easily and beautifully remakes any song into gqom, a genre in which he might be counted among the kings.
“Yangthatha La” is neither a remake nor a remix, but it still bears the musical force one has come to expect from the muso. Sthandoh was a great complement here. You should love what these friends have put together.
