ReaDaSoul and Rea WMNTA linked up to deliver the amapiano remix of this track titled “Summer Daze”, and it features Fordkeyz.
If there is anything taking over the African music scene, it is amapiano. You read that right. So it is only right that we get an amapiano remix to “Summer Daze”, the Nick Holder classic.
Twenty years after Nick released that classic, the song’s influence cannot be overstated. In the same way you can’t imagine a sky without clouds, “Summer Daze” is a song that has ironed itself into the history of modern-day house music. Recently, “Summer Daze” has seen something of a return in contemporary South African music.
Some other versions of the evergreen song has been released before now. Musa Keyz has done a Sineti Afro House Music version. HouseXcape has also brought us a “Kwaito Feel” of the song.
