Ruger debuts on the Jonzing platform with a song titled “One Shirt,” featuring D’Prince and Rema, who are also part of Jonzing.
In a recent Instagram post, Don Jazzy, who runs Mavin Records, and affiliate of Jonzing, had noted that D’Prince was the one who discovered the afrobeats newcomer and bid fans look forward to what Ruger has got in his kitty.
The kitty is open now, and what’s out? Something beautiful. In the accompanying music video, the songster had subtly implied that even the dead cannot resist the charm of his music, which he describes as Afrodancehall.
Indeed one cannot begrudge him his confidence as he manages to present a number that’s charming and energizing on many levels – something you wanna listen to ove and over and present to others.
For one who has only just debuted, Ruger displays infectious energy that is hard to miss in the song and accompanying music video. Also, the musical synergy between him and his guests D’Prince and Rema could pass for poetry.
How would you rate Ruger’s debut “One Shirt” song featuring D’Prince and Rema, though? We invite you to check out the song below and join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section.
