South African act, Scoop Lezinto, returns with some steam: a new single, entitled “Shukuma” which features Musical Jazz.
The new single comes after the release of his first single, “Nkalakatha”, also released this year, and it features three other artists that include Killa Punch, Billathexvi, Musical Stylist, and Deeman. After whetting the appetites of his growing fan base, he bounces right back with not one song, not two, but a whole album! One that the new single, “Shukuma” stems from. He calls the body of work, “Inkulumo Zabantu”, and it comes encased with 7 songs in which the new song features as the 6th.
Scoop neither walked nor worked alone on the project, he invited some of his up-and-coming friends and artists, some which are frequent collaborators like Musical Jazz and Sgija’Disciples that both appeared on two tracks each. He has also been featured by the latter on their own song, “S’fikile”. Other artists that make appearances on the new album are Jimmy Mjimmero, Zan’Ten, Deep Kvy, MuziQal’kay and Romeo. Lezinto has also worked with The Classic Djys on another 2022 release, “Gets Gets”.
Lezinto clearly shows that he is in this music business for the long haul, as he keeps working ceaselessly to make a name for himself in the industry. Go run up the new song now available on streaming platforms.
