Friends and serial collaborators Sphectacula and DJ Naves are back in collaborative fever, treating fans to a track titled “Matha (Edit),” with Focalistic and Abidoza as guests.
Amapiano is the message here, and there’s no denying this quartet had a wonderful time spitting their bars, creating a wonderful musical experience that the listener would love repeated.
One of the lead singers, DJ Naves, holds several offices besides that of a DJ. He’s a fashion designer and a medical doctor. In contrast, his associate is known just as a disc jockey and producer.
The guest artiste Abidoza is one of the leading voices in South Africa’s amapiano universe and in high demand as a collaborator. He’s worked with the likes of Cassper Nyovest and Major League DJz, among others.
Focalistic? He’s also one of the leading lights in amapiano. Previously a hip hop artiste, he’d ditched the genre for amapiano because hip hop didn’t give him all the support he wanted.
Anyway, these four friends make a fine team and their song in review is one to vibe with.
