After teasing and announcing the release just a week ago, Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo have linked up to assist their new born baby release his first single titled Ibheshu.
On the 17th of June 2021, the couple gave birth to their bundle of joy after getting married. The couple have been through a lot as couples in the public eye but they have overcome so far by standing by eachother. The new Gqom song is a another way of giving their child a quick start into the entertainment scene.
They have already opened an Instagram account for the newborn and he currently has close to 30k followers, this practice is very popular within the music scene but it is not very common in South Africa for parents to feature their kids who can barely speak on a song. Although we have seen international artists like Beyonce do it with Blu Ivy on Brown Skin Girl and some other songs.
Ibheshu could be a start of new trend in South Africa among the music artists. Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo who are regular collaborators let their talent bare in the banging new song.
