Devotion and obsession are markedly on display as Stefflon Don releases her song “Can’t Let You Go (Remix),” featuring Tiwa Savage and Rema.
It’s a gathering of champions, and the released song is actually something to vibe with. It comes just in time for Valentine’s Day.
It’s unknown why she elected to work with Rema and Tiwa Savage. But then there’s no faulting her choice of guests. She flows beautifully with the two who, in a sense, are linked.
Tiwa Savage was formerly signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, where she was called the First Lady, being the first woman signed to the label. Following her exit from Mavin Records to Universal Music, Mavin had formally signed Rema, who is today one of the resonant voices in Nigeria’s afrobeat universe.
It’s exciting having the troika on the same number in that they are beautifully complementary. Although a Briton, the lead artiste is somehow still linked to Nigeria in that beside featuring artistes of Nigerian provenance, her boyfriend (Burna Boy) is a Nigerian and also a musician.
Well, what do you think of “Can’t Let You Go (Remix)” by Stefflon Don and her friend and how would you rate it on a scale of zero to ten?
