Not long ago, South African producer Sun-EL Musician released a teaser of what he called “Portia’s Chant,” fanning the fires of expectancy in fans. The song is here now.
The song is not a chant per se but it surely doesn’t make for a boring break. Nope. Instead, with this song, you get to experience spikes in energy level. You come out of your encounter with the song, chuffed and exuberant.
In retrospect, then, the wait for the song was well worth it. And, we see those who’ve only just encountered the songster looking forward to more numbers from him. Yeah, Sun-EL Musician has got a winning tune here.
By the way Sun-EL Musician was recently criticized by controversial hip hop critic Nota for not treating well those signed to his El World Music record label, especially Claudio and Kenza. Kenza has since ditched the label to pursue his destiny on his own terms – as an indie.
