Tipcee Premieres Amashigoshi With Dladla Mshunqisi & Drega

Afrotainment artiste Tipcee premieres a new song titled “Amashigoshi,” featuring fellow South Africans Dladla Mshunqisi and Drega.

This is not a surprise, drop, Tipcee having apprised fans previously of the imminence of the number. The fevered expectations the announcement of th song’s imminence provoked has been justly rewarded with a fine afro-house tune just about anyone should be chuffed to hear.

This isn’t the first collaborative tune by the troika, though. They’ve worked on a couple of projects previously, titillating Mzansi with their singing gifts. Here, as in previous releases, you have a lyrical winner. Y’all really gotta check it out.

“Amashigoshi” might be a song with the immediacy of afro-house, but the artistes behind this number have also released numbers in gqom – one of the popular genres in South Africa. Gqom was the in-thing at some point, but it seems like amapiano has taken over, with Kabza De Small calling himself king of the genre. But that’s by the way.

“Amashigoshi” might get the party started immediately. Who wouldn’t want that on a Friday? Come on, people!
