Toni Braxton returns with a brand new single titled “Do It”.
If you thought the lockdown and quarantine were strong enough to stop Toni Braxton from dropping new music, then you obviously don’t know her. The talented RnB/Pop icon always drops music when the time is right, so we’re guessing this is the right time for this.
She’s out with a new song which she titles “Do It”. The song follows her Multi Grammy-nominated album, “Sex & Cigarettes” which was quite the success. The album housed some impressive singles including “Long As I Live” which hit number one on the Billboard Adult RnB charts and the RnB charts top ten.
Toni has revealed that the new song was inspired by a true event, in which her friend had difficulty leaving a relationship. She also said this is the best time to stay indoors and quarantine your heart. She said,
“I wrote this song about a year ago when a friend was going through the struggles of trying to end a relationship that wasn’t good for her. We have all been through situations like this, when there is really nothing more to say, you know he’s not right and you just need to do what you need to do. There is also an element of hope in the song, that after you do what you need to do things will get better”
