Touchline returns with fierce energy with a song titled “Unfaithful, Unruly, Ungrateful,” featuring Veena.
The song’s title brings a lot to mind, mostly relationship stuff – peeps who have once been hopelessly in love now acting like strangers because one most likely lost touch with sense or reason – or whatever you want to call it.
But is that really the focus of the song here? We’d rather leave that for you to find out. But if you should ask us, we’d tell you that you’re in for a good time with this one.
It’s near impossible to listen to this song and not draw vital lessons from it – especially if you’re in a relationship or plan to get into one. But, of course, we doubt the singular purpose of that number was to be didactic. Touchline still made room for entertainment and even absurdity.
The result is a musical experience that will make you smile and shake your head at the same time.
Veena is a plucked string instrument most often seen in the hands of the Indian goddess Saraswati. It’s also the name of the singer who complemented Touchline beautifully on this song. The two make a fine team, and here you have a fine number. Way to go!
