It’s been long we listened to a song by Trademark, a group comprising the pals Promise Mahlangu and Sphiwe Skhosana. After what appears to be a short hiatus, the group reemerges with a song we are chuffed to hear and share.
“Uyapenga” is a song of sterling sonic promise, and we are confident that, like us, you are going to love every minute vibing with it. Makhadzi strikes us as an excellent choice on this song. Her verse readily sucks you in.
From the looks of it, Makhadzi wouldn’t be held back by the “sudden” break with boyfriend Master KG of the “Jerusalema” fame. They had apparently split months back, but Master KG had announced the split just after she started trending following her superlative performance on Lockdown House Party.
Well, break up or not, Makhadzi is still a fiery entertainer, as should be obvious from her performance on this song. Go grab “Uyapenga”!
