A year ago, uMasolvane’s “Ishende Lami” project popped online. It wasn’t exactly a formal drop, but then peeps enjoyed it. It’s 2021 and we have a formal project from the songster.
“Ishende Lami” EP is a 4-track project with two eponymous tracks, one of them an instrumental. Projects of this length are usually sans guests. And that’s the case with uMasolvane’s.
The tracks might not be many, but the songster manages to weave an interesting musical experience with his four tracks. They’re memorable.
UMasolvane might not be buzzing right now, but the songster has got what it takes to snap the attention of the maskandi-loving public. His EP is a fine advertisement of his creative power.
Not only does the project illuminate his gift, it might, ultimately, encourage those unfamiliar with the songster to start checking out his musical offerings. Not bad.
