Up-and-coming musician Vontebz goes “2 By 2” alongside his more established counterpart Kwesta. A fine partnership, this.
Known professionally as Vontebz, the musician’s real name is actually Tebogo Motlhagodi. Born in the North West, South Africa, the songster started his musical adventure listening to the works of other artists. And then he’d leapt, creating his own stuff. He’s currently a record label owner.
The guest artist, Kwesta, is one of the leading voices in South African rap. He’s also one of the bestselling rap aces out there, with several platinum records.
Although better established musically than the bloke he elected to work with, there’s no denying he shares a great musical connection with Vontebz. And that’s reason enough to look beyond their present collaboration and wait for more.
Until another collaborative jam, of course, we’re savouring the number in review, and we urge you to do the same. The song is well worth every second of its playtime.
