Yanga Chief is out with a new song titled “Ntoni Na,” a collaborative work with fellow South Africans Blxckie and 25K.
Think of the song as a meeting of three buzzers and wouldn’t be wrong. All three artists are currently buzzing as we write. For the lead muso, it’s like a return to the music scene after what might pass for a brief break. And with fans seriously anticipating his “PopStar II” album, speculations are rife the song is a prelude to that body of work.
For his part, Blxckie is riding on the waves of his “B4NOW (Deluxe)” project, which followed the compilation sans the “Deluxe” tag. Thanks to his artistic and creative energy, Blxckie has been picked as one of the hip-hop artists to watch.
25k himself stands tall, on the strength of his “Pheli Makaveli” album, which recently dropped. He makes a great team with Yanga Chief and Blxckie. The result of their coming together is a song worth hearing.
