Yashna is out with a compilation titled “Yano Groove” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo, your go-to place for all things South African music.
This body of work spots 5 tracks in all and two guests, Tyler ICU and Neo Ndawo. The body of work begins with an eponymous song. After that, Yashna linked with the producer Tyler ICU and the two dropped a number that might get some peeps emotional.
The song, which already has a music video, might be counted among the top songs in the compilation – something to vibe with and share with a lover.
For “Meet Me Halfway,” Yashna had no guests but delivered her bars beautifully anyway. For the follow-up tune, “On My Way,” Yashna tapped the vocal resources of Neo Ndawo. It’s a splendid duet that’s as entertaining as can be.
“Duma” continues the beautiful lyrical run – or rather ends it. But the aftertaste of the EP as a whole will stay with the listener a long time.
