Y’all remember the Cape Town rapper YoungstaCPT’s “La Familie” song? It premiered back in 2019 as part of his album “3T.” Now the music video has been released.
Described as one of YoungstaCPT’s most personal videos to date, “La Familie,” which translates to “The Family” from the French, is so titled because it features members of the rapper’s family, including his grandfather, whom he credited with assisting with the production of the award-winning “3T” album.
In fact, YoungstaCPT says the video means the most to him because it features members of his family. The video was directed by YoungstaCPT himself and produced by Dale Fortune of paper Digital, his regular collaborator.
The video premiered on YoungstaCPT’s YouTube channel yesterday 9 July 2020. It already has thousands of impressions. The video will especially resonate with YoungstaCPT’s fans who have always wanted to view and listen to his family up close.
