South African musician Zaba croons “Matenase,” a song for which he tapped the vocal resources of his associates Tseraij and the amapiano ace Daliwonga.
The lead singer isn’t known to have an extensive collaborative history with the two musicians he elected to work with. But he did so well with them that the default reaction to what they have put together is to want to see them together on another jam.
Of course, there’s no promise yet of another jam. So, you might want to hold on to what’s already playing while fanning the flames of optimism that they will collaborate again.
You don’t have much to worry about, though, for their collaborative drop has all the thunder and energy that makes for a song worthy of a place on a playlist. “Matenase” is the anthem for this week. You gotta embrace it for all it’s worth. No dulling, peeps!
