Zodwa Mtirara has released yet another soul-touching song titled “mncedi wam”.
“Mncedi Wam” is a beautiful and mellow afrosoul song where Zodwa Mtirara laments to the omnipresent God about her need for His presence and intervention in her daily life, where she encounters countless troubles and struggles. Her pray is that God reveals Himself as He is her only hope.
Zodwa Mtirara is a very articulate and detailed singer and songwriter who understands her music well. On this record she worked with a friend and longtime collaborator Bongz Bmusic, a talented producer whom she featured on her previous single. The pair always gets it right when they are in the studio, feeding off of each other’s gifts and creating magic. Bongz delivered a very beautiful and mellow beat which speaks to the soul on every key.
As a decorated singer and songwriter, Zodwa has worked on numerous classics and hit records. The most recent ones being “Round and Round” by DJ SK and “Le Ntliziyo” by BrandySA & Distortion where she features alongside De’Moss and Dark Whiz.
