Wednesday is here and WCB Wasafi artiste Zuchu is out with a new song titled “Sukari,” keeping to her promise.
Prior to the release of the single, the songstress had, through a series of posts, informed fans about what was imminent. Well, the track is here. In retrospect, the wait was worth it.
Zuchu, a daughter to notable taarab singer Khadija Kopa, is the latest signee at WCB Wasafi and appears to be the label’s focus right now. She has released more songs of recent than other artistes on the label, including Diamond Platnumz himself.
As a result of the singular on her, speculations had been rife that label mates were restless, not having been given as many opportunities to release as many songs of recent. Zuchu denied this in a recent interview, however.
At any rate, the MAMA (MTV Africa Music Awards) nominee has just released an interesting number that can engage just about any audience. The wait is over and on the plate is something savory. So go ahead and help yourself to “Sukari.”
How would you rate Zuchu’s “Sukari,” though? We invite you to stream the song below and join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section.
