Qwest Offers Copycat Netbook Broadband Plan

Internet broadband provider Qwest Communications is joining the fray with a new plan that sounds a whole lot like plans offered by Verizon, AT&T, and others: with the purchase of a two-year service contract, you get a Dell Mini 10 for $100 off.

This brings the netbook to an attractive $199, though I can’t say I’m impressed with Qwest’s creativity. Still, another option for consumers should be incentive enough for competitors to get creative.
