South African rapper Shebeshxt is seemingly the man of the moment – trending on TikTok, buzzing across South Africa, with a historic 1 million interview views on Podcast and Chill with MacG.
Podcast and Chill with MacG is easily one of South Africa’s most controversial podcasts, with splendid numbers during each episode. However, none of the episodes in the podcast’s history was able to do the numbers that the one with the rapper Shebeshxt did.
At 1 million views in two days, it was the highest number that a podcast episode had done in that time. So, understandably, many South Africans were chuffed and interested in how that happened, including the podcast hosts themselves.
part of the reason for that gran number lies in the controversial takes during the interview. The Limpopo rapper said things as they were. He also ruffled feathers. Of particular interest was his claim that he was not paid for his performance at fellow rapper Focalistic’s one-man show.
