With the news that 25k’s “Pheli Makaveli” album is dropping soon, and other artistes having indicated plans of dropping new projects as well, we might say that we have stepped into a new season of releases.
In a tweet yesterday 7 June, 25k had noted that the wait is almost over and fans can expect the project soon. He gave no release date, however, electing to state, instead, that the project will be available for preorder from 11 June.
The excitement his tweet elicited is best imagined. From the flame to the crying emoji, to peeps saying “it’s about time” and others saying the “can’t wait,” the reception for the news has been of approbation and joy.
For “Pheli Makaveli” album, 25k had worked with the platinum-selling producer Zoocci Coke Dope, who had once famously stated that rappers don’t know how to put albums together.
Well, one can only guess that Zoocci Coke Dope has put together something sexy given his near contempt for the productions he has seen of other people’s projects.
