4 Charged In Pop Smoke’s Murder And Home Invasion… Might Face Death Penalty

His death 0n 19 February this year sent shock waves across the music scene in the United States and indeed across the world. He was a rapper with great potentials and was relatively new on the scene.

It may have been five months since Pop Smoke’s murder during a burglary and home invasion at his Hollywood Hills home, but it appears justice is about to be served in the case.

The four teens who allegedly killed the pop star have been slammed with murder charges, which might attract the death penalty. 19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers are both charged in the murder case.

The names of the other two accused were not given because they are still minors (15 and 17 years old).

Pop Smoke, whose legal name is Bashar Barakah Jackson, may have perished in February, but his legacy is still very much alive. His first and final album was released 3 July, thanks to the efforts of industry honchos like 50 cents and Steven Victor.

Titled “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon,” this compilation houses 19 tracks in all, beginning with “Bad Bitch from Tokyo (Intro)” and ending with “Dior (Bonus).”
