Kobe got emotional meeting his son Koban for the first time, and he burst into tears. This much played out during Sunday’s episode of the reality show 90 Day Fiancé.
How did it come to this?
Kobe, a Cameroonian, had met Emily, a Kansas native, at a nightclub in China and they fell madly in love. One month into their engagement, Emily discovered she was pregnant and flew back home to the United States.
Kobe applied for a visitor visa. It was declined and he couldn’t witness the birth of his son. In search of a way out, the couple had applied for a K-1 spousal visa.
The coronavirus pandemic intruded around the same period. It took Kobe two years to eventually make it to the United States. Not surprisingly, he was consumed with emotion seeing his son for the very first time. He cried for now. Emily was tearful with emotions as well
Kobe described Koban as cute, noting how, because of the child, he’s now a father — a beautiful moment for him.
It isn’t all roses, though, as Kobe had no qualms telling Emily she’d gained weight. Emily herself had no qualms saying she has a type. She loves black blokes!
