Reality show ace Somizi popped on South Africa’s trending list again. This time it’s all for good. Somgaga is engaged.
Yup. You heated that right. The Idols SA judge recently revealed that he’s engaged. To affirm that, he’d shared on social media a picture of him rocking a diamond engagement ring.
But who could the person he’s engaged to be? Well, at the time of writing, the word out there is that he’s engaged to no other than Pholoso Mohlala, one of the notable faces in South Africa’s gay universe.
Before getting engaged to Somizi, a judge of the reality show Idols SA, Mohlala had briefly dated Lasizwe earlier this year. The Drink or Tell the Truth host is one person who’s generally known not to get along well with Somizi.
Anyway, Somizi has found love again, and he’s taking one step at a time going forward. He hasn’t been particularly forward about his new relationship, and neither has Mohlala, but Somgaga has already given hints.
It’ll be interesting to see how his new relationship unravels after his public breakup with his husband, Mohale Motaung. Somizi has moved on, but his fans make it a point to troll Mohale every chance they get.
