A co-sign from a great or major artist is what many musicians hope to one day get, but, of course, most end up not getting it. South African rapper and dancer Costa Titch has just gotten one from no other than Senegalese-American singer AKON.
During a recent interview, AKON noted that he listens to the South African. He’d gone on to ask whoever would listen to check out Costa Titch, adding, “He’s going to change the game, he’s going to be a game changer.”
These words were affirmations of a dream Costa Titch has had all along and voiced out at some point – that of one day becoming the biggest artist in Africa.
Excited about the endorsement of his talents by the “Be With You” singer, Costa Titch had taken to his Instagram page, where he shared the clip in which AKON had vetted his talents. In the caption to the video, he shouted out AKON, letting him know that his words of approval meant the world to him. You can check out the clip below.
By the way, Costa Titch didn’t realise at the outset that he would end up making music. He started out as a dancer, working with Cassper Nyovest. The music came along the line, and he has been unstoppable since.
