A Mixed Bag At Rolling Loud Miami: Kid Cudi Harassed, Kanye West Makes Surprise Appearance

It was literally rolling loud at the Rolling Loud festival this year – a mixed bag.  Kanye West had made an unexpected appearance at the festival, sending his fans into a frenzy, and Kid Cud had stormed off stage because the crowd harassed him.

It was a Friday of many memories.  Long before the festival kicked off, organizers had announced Kid Cudi as one of the headliners.  Kid Cudi made it to the Miami event but did not perform as he should.

The rapper had to end his performance after just 30 minutes because audience members repeatedly threw items on stage during his performance.

Kid Cudi was actually a last-minute substitute for Kanye West, a friend but now rival, at the Rolling Loud event.  Even though no one expected Ye to turn up at the event, the “Donda” rapper showed up, to the surprise of many.

His appearance exacerbated the situation as it somehow ignited his rivalry with Kudi and the same energy permeated the crowd.  Cudi ended up not having the performance he came for.

For his part, Ye performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” with Lil Durk.  The song has Kid Cudi on the chorus.  But he never joined them on the Rolling Loud stage.
