Kelly Khumalo was the girlfriend of the former Bafana Bafana goalie Senzo Meyiwa at the time of his death. Actually, he was killed at her home back in 2014, in the presence of her mother and her sister Zandie Khumalo.
There is currently a retrial ongoing after the previous trial judge, Maumela, was suspended by President Cyril Ramaphosa. Kelly Khumalo insists on her innocence in the whole saga and described Senzo as the only man she has ever truly loved.
