Rapper, A-Reece releases a detailed statement addressing the postponement of the “Reece Effect concert due to the coronavirus.
There isn’t a person in Mzansi right now who hasn’t been affected by the spread of the Coronavirus in Mzansi right now. Everyone has felt the impact of the epidemic in one way or the other.
Artistes on the other hand have had to either cancel or rescheduled already planned events which has been heartbreaking. This is due to the recent announcement by President Ramaphosa who placed a ban on gatherings of more than 100. It has been sad to witness but safety is needed.
Mzansi rapper, A-Reece recently had his scheduled show, “Reece Effect” postponed to a more later date in the future. The rapper took to his Twitter page to share a statement on the postponement, and also show fans who wish to get their monies back how they would do it. He also revealed that those who had already bought tickets would be able to use it at the upcoming date. Apparently, refunds are only allowed until 23, March 2020. See full statement below:
In light of His Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of Disaster announcement and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in South Africa, Reece Effect 2020 which was set to take place on the 4th of April 2020 has been officially postponed until further notice.
For patrons who would like a refund, these are the steps you need to follow:
- Those who have already purchased tickets will be able to use the same tickets for the new date to be announced in due time.
- Those who wish to refund their tickets must simply log into their Webtickets profile, click on “My Tickets” and click on “CHOOSE ACTION” and “REFUND TICKETS” next to their If you paid via Pick n Pay or EFT, you will be prompted to enter your banking details and will receive a confirmation email. PLEASE NOTE: Refunds will be processed and paid within 5 — 7 working days. Refunds are only allowed until 23 March 2020. No refunds will be processed thereafter.
