New faces of Gucci, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator star in the luxury brand’s new campaign.
What a dream it would be to be the face of a luxury brand as sophisticated as Gucci. Shoutout to rappers, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator who have been announced as the brand’s newest faces.
The two are featured in a recent Gucci campaign. According to a report by Rap-Up, it was shot back in February, prior to the pandemic. Photography and the campaign’s direction were handled by Harmony Korine. In the recently released film, the two Hip Hop stars are larger than life as they pull up to Iggy Pop’s LA residence, a mid-century mansion.
They ride in a vintage bronze Rolls Royce and are seen rocking Gucci’s retro menswear. They are then greeted by the “Godfather of Punk” and bust moves to Cerrone’s “Supernature”. Later on, they dine on bowls of spaghetti.
