Of course, it feels great to win. But that feeling is simply profound when one has a brother who pushes one to be the best one can be, resulting in the triumph being celebrated. Such is the reality of South African actor Abdul Khoza.
Abdul was recently honoured with the National Film and Television Award (NFTA) in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role as Nqoba in the soaraway series “The Wife.”
The win was significant to the actor and he wasted no time acknowledging the same in a post on his official Instagram page. In the post, he shared a clip of himself and his brother Sethmbiso “SK” Khoza looking regal as they stood side by side, then took the lift.
In the caption, he acknowledged the role his elder brother had played in his life while also affirming their bond. He also shouted out his designer for the outfit he wore to the occasion. You can check out the clip below.
“The Wife” is one of South Africa’s most loved soapies, and Nqoba himself is one of the series’s most memorable characters. On that count, his winning the NFTA is by no means surprising. Well, congratulations are in order for Abdul Khoza.
