Multiple streams of income have often been touted as the best route to avoid the surprises of life that can toss one into poverty the moment one loses one’s only source of income. While many take this seriously, so just ignore it, trusting life to be good to them.
Notable South African actor Gabriel Temudzani is one man who isn’t leaving anything to chance. At least this much became apparent recently when he revealed that he is also a farmer. In fact, he has been farming as far back as 2016.
That year, according to reports, he had inherited his farming business from his family. In the intervening years, the business has grown and it is about to become a full-fledged commercial project in the Limpopo area of South Africa.
Celebrities delving into farming is actually nothing new. There are several other notable figures who have delved into farming, albeit with focus on different verticals. One such figure is the Kwaito musician Arthur Mafokate, who not only owns farms but shares about them and encourages people to get back to the land. Another is Prince Kaybee. he owns a vineyard that supplies the raw materials for his wine brand.
