Drug abuse is a global problem. Around the world, even in the most unlikely places, someone somewhere is battling with drug abuse and its concomitant problems. One man who had battled drug abuse but has somehow found redemption is the South African actor Thabis Mokhethi.
The Generations: The Legacy actor recently recalled his days as a drug addict, noting how his life was almost zero at the time but how he miraculously found redemption and is now a new person in a sense, a nobleman.
The actor has been away from the spotlight for a while now, which explains the great interest in his reappearance. In a post on his official Instagram page, he had shared his story for the benefit of others who might be going through the same challenges and are looking forward to redemption.
He noted that he abused drugs and was depressed. But the grace of God, which is sufficient for all, redeemed him and now he is a new creation. But for the grace of God, he would never have broken free from the grip of drug abuse. You can listen to his story below.
