The Kingdom actor, Thapelo Maropefela dies on the eve of his 25th birthday.
Mzansi is mourning the loss of another amazing talent, actor, Thapelo Maropefela who reportedly died just before his 25th birthday. He was best known for playing the role of Kagiso in the SABC 1 show, The Kingdom which earned him good recognition.
His older sister took to social media to announce that he had passed. According to her, the good looking young actor was meant to celebrate his 25th birthday on Sunday, October 24th. She also revealed that since he got busy, he never celebrated with the family, but had promised to do it with them this year.
Sadly, he passed on his birthday eve, just before he got the chance to. She further asked that the public give the family some space to grieve the loss. It is still unclear how Thapelo died. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
“Friends and Family, unfortunately my little brother, Thapelo, left us in the early hours of today. Please give my family and I some space to process and arrange everything. Thank you, loves. What pains me the most is he never spends his birthday at home. This year he assured my mom he was going be home for his birthday. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. He left us on the eve of his birthday.”
