Actor Wiseman Mncube On Need To Give Upcoming Actors Opportunities To Prove Their Abilities

South African actor Wiseman Mncube has got some important words to share with those who would listen, whether they are in the film industry or not. Of course, the message is for those in the industry but it should benefit all industries.

Wiseman Mncube is unimpressed with the treatment often meted out to upcoming actors, insisting that they should be given a chance like everyone else and not simply dismissed because they are new in the game.

He would rather casting directors give aspiring talents a fair chance during auditions and not simply dismiss them based on them not having had much experience or acting time.

He used himself as an example, noting that if he was hosting auditions for a certain production and needed someone to prepare a monologue song dance piece or poem, he would give everyone an opportunity to showcase what they have prepared even though they may not look like those he wants.

His take resonated with many South Africans, some of whom pointed out that’s how it should be done – leaving an open field for those who can do things to do just that, instead of pushing them aside without giving them a platform first.
