Actress Annie Wersching Dead At 45

It has been said that if wishes were horses, “beggars” would ride. And if many people could help it, they would want to live forever. But, of course, for the most part, fate has other ideas and people die young – sadly. That’s exactly the case with Annie Wersching, who recently died at 45.

According to her publicist, she died yesterday, Sunday 29 January, from cancer/ The exact cancer was not given, though. She had battled the affliction for a while but only recently gave up the ghost.

Since the news of her passing broke online, it has been raining memories on social media, as those who knew her share their experiences of her and the impact she had made in their lives and in society generally.

The actress Abigail Spencer, who had worked with Annie on “Timeless,” expressed love for the actress even in death while also noting that Annie would be deeply missed. Neil Druckmann, creator of “The Last of Us,” had similar sentiments when he tweeted that Annie was a beautiful artist and human being. He also noted that he is shattered by the news of her death.

Annie Wersching had featured in several films but stood out the most as FBI agent Renee Walker in the series “24.”
