Dr Nandipha Magudumana has been arrested alongside her convicted fugitive boyfriend Thabo Bester as they tried to get into Kenya via the Tanzanian border, and some people have been sympathising with her, If you missed the backstory, it follows below.
Dr Nandipha Magudumana was a cosmetologist with some big-name celebs clients. She was like every other normal citizen until the day she was spotted at a shopping mall in the company of a man that looked like the escapee prisoner and rapist Thabo Bester.
South Africa went with theories and speculations following the spotting. In no time both Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana had fled the mansion where they used to live together. Previously, Bester, who is often called the “Facebook Rapist” had “escaped” from prison after faking his own death and switching bodies with a dead, unknown figure.
Given the circumstances of the case, Dr Nandipha was described as complicit in Bester’s escape from prison and in his escape from South Africa as well, But some South Africans have been showing support to Dr Nandipha Magudumana because she is beautiful, and especially after an audio in which Bester allegedly threatened her surfaced online
South African actress Bonnie Mbuli has shared her thoughts on it all, ascribing “pretty privilege” as the reason for the support Nandipha is getting.
