Fans of singer, Adekunle Gold and Mavin Records singer, Johnny Drille who have been calling for a collab between the two for years may just have an answer as to why it has not happened yet.
The two are considered solid ambassadors of the alternative music scene but have never worked together on same song since they both hit limelight despite the calls and appeals from their fans for a collaboration to happen.
Responding to a question on Twitter, Adekunle Gold whose “Young Love” is still trending explained that the delay was from Johnny Drille’s end as the latter had been promising to send the song for over two years but has not done that.
A fan had tweeted:
A @Johnnydrille and @adekunleGOLD collaboration would really bang 100
But Adekunle Gold was quick to point out why that has not happened when he tweeted:
John don use my mouth send me our song for over 2 years now. Lol. Ok i don exaggerate e never reach 2. fuck it. Over 2 years!!!! Inside life.
There has been no response from Johnny Drille who is still reveling in the attention from John Bellion but fans will be hoping he says something about this soon and to know if the collaboration will happen or not.
