Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has apparently shrugged over the controversy his picture with a female director at Kaizer Chiefs elicited and gone ahead with more important things – a collaboration with sportswear giant Adidas.
The 2023 Rugby World Cup is just around the corner (to be held in September) with France as the venue and South Africa as one of the teams expected at the competition. There is certainly no better time to partner with the man who will be leading the South African side to that historic event.
Adidas has unveiled a 10-year anniversary RS15 boot to celebrate the rugby of the South African captain, encapsulating a decade of sporting excellence.
According to Adidas, which shared a picture of the rugby champ displaying the new boot, the “collaborative masterpiece” commemorates the captain’s illustrious journey, as well as pays homage to his roots.
Siya Kolisi and Adidas also shared a joint post in which he could be seen admitting the boot and also using it. The boot is touted as having been designed for the country that made the champ. You can check out the post below.
For Siya, the latest collaborative partnership is another testament to his appeal as an athlete and as captain of the South African side.
