Something huge is coming and it certainly resonates beyond the borders of friendship. You heard that right. Not only are Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest going on a joint tour, the songstress plan to release their albums on the same day as well. What’s more? They have just released the lineup for their tour.
In the world of hip-hop – you might say music generally – artists make it a point not to release music on the same day, let alone an album. The reason is not to allow the other work to dilute attention from theirs. So they give the works of others some space before releasing theirs.
Nasty C and Cassper don’t care. They are planning something big and different. Their African Throne tour, which begins on September 1 in Eswatini, will also see the musos release their albums on the same day. Cass is working on a compilation; Nasty C has his hands on something else.
It will be interesting to see what impact each album will make and which of the two will resonate with South Africans the most.
In the interim, fans mighty want to know that apart from the rapper Dee Koala, who was announced as part of the lineup recently, the full lineup list is out.
