Afrochella Is Coming To South Africa This October

Mzansi, get ready, Afrochella is coming to south Africa this October.

We’ve all heard a thing or two about Afrochella and how big the Ghanaian music festival is. Well, Mzansi is about to get a taste of it. Culture Management Group (CMG) announced the “Road To Afrochella,” a popup activation which will introduce the festival to the Sub-Saharan market.

That’s scheduled to happen later this month in Johannesburg on Sunday, October 30, at the Premium Altitude Beach. The one-day event promises to showcase what the festival is about. CEO & Co-founder of Afrochella, Abdul Karim Abdullah, said in a statement,

“Afrochella has always been more than just a festival in Ghana, and because of that, we’re so excited to bring our “Road to Afrochella” series to South Africa! Through this popup event, we have the opportunity to bring our platform to other regions across Africa, help elevate their homegrown talent and design a unique cultural experience that merges the exciting worlds of fashion, art, music, and food together.”

The event will feature performances by Focalistic, Daliwonga, Stonebwoy, Young Stunna, Venom & Shisiliza, Uncle Partytime, Gyakie and more. It will also feature several other fun activities.
