When one door slams in your face, another invariably opens if you’re good – so the saying goes. And that’s the reality in the life of media personality Unathi Nkayi.
The songstress recently lost her position at Kaya FM after a little tiff with fellow presenter Sizwe Dhlomo. She had allegedly falsely accused Dhlomo of verbally assaulting her.
An in-house investigation had revealed that Sizwe Dhlomo had not assaulted her as she claimed, and she was fired from her post. She insists, however, that the whole thing is nothing but an attempt to silence her.
Anyway, she’s gotten another radio gig and she’s more than chuffed to announce the same. She made a video announcement of her new gig but failed to give the name of the station she’ll be joining.
By the way, besides her exit from Kaya FM, Unathi recently announced her departure from the judging panel of the reality show Idols SA. Apparently, her departure from Idols was much more amicable, and she wrote a note about it, thanking those she had a chance to work with on the reality show.
In other news, Unathi has also landed another man. Lol. In a recent tweet, the singer Kaylow announced that he’s now dating Unathi. Talk of winning on multiple levels.
